Dog at Paris Mile Marker Porcelain Limoges Box

A dog stops at a Paris mile marker and lifts its leg, leaving its own mark on the City of Light. This hand-painted porcelain Limoges box, made in Limoges, France, is one of the cheekiest pieces in any Paris collection.

Leaving a Mark on Paris

French humor has always had a mischievous streak, and this piece captures it perfectly. The stone marker and the dog are painted by hand, so each little scene carries its own shading and expression. It is impossible to look at without grinning.

Who Will Laugh Loudest

• A dog owner whose pup never misses a lamppost
• A friend just back from a trip to Paris
• A Francophile with a sense of humor

A Conversation Starter

Set it on a bookshelf next to an Eiffel Tower piece, on a home office desk or in a powder room where guests will find it. It pairs well with other dog boxes and French themed pieces like berets, baguettes and Paris street lamps. This is hand-painted porcelain from Limoges, France, chosen by people who believe a collection should make them laugh.
